There is no need for gloomy faces: Jesus came to save us from darkness and show us the way to the light of God! So, even in church you can have a good laugh – while realising that our existence is not just a laughing matter. 

Father Philip was dead serious in his dedication to God and his service to the poor. At the same time, he would often have a good laugh about himself. Self-importance he considered contrary to our faith in God. Do you like to make fun of yourself at times?
