2.18 Cos’è accaduto dopo la Pentecoste?
A Pentecoste gli Apostoli ricevettero lo Spirito Santo, che li ispirò e disse loro cosa dire e fare. Essi andarono nel mondo a predicare il messaggio di Gesù, il Vangelo e fondarono comunità cristiane in molte città.
Pietro andò a Roma e divenne il capo della Chiesa locale. Molti Apostoli predicarono il Vangelo tra gli ebrei, mentre l’Apostolo Paolo portò il messaggio ai Gentili, cioè i non-ebrei o pagani. Il Vangelo di Gesù è per tutti!
The Apostles... went forth into the world, and preached the same doctrine of the same Faith to the nations, and forthwith founded Churches in every city, from whence the other churches thenceforward borrowed the tradition of the Faith and the seeds of the doctrine, and are daily borrowing them, that they may become Churches.
