Lord, we are soldiers, sailors and airmen with different languages and cultures.

We share the same faith and are united in our service to you and the Church, associated by AMI, the Apostolat Militaire International.

With the soldiers in the Bible who recognised you as their Lord and God, we humbly ask:
- give us peace for our lives, families, armed forces and nations;
- help us to serve like you, who came not to be served but to serve;
- teach us to be ready for self-sacrifice with you on the cross;
- send us your spirit of justice for this unequal and violent world;
- and let us contribute to sharing your love with others.

We ask you this at the intercession of Mary our heavenly Mother.
